What we are delivering
A complete strip-out and replacement of the end-of-life plant, the five Wessex boilers, two Hamworthy DHW generators and Nalco vessels, and installation of a new fully condensing modular cascade with packaged storage, DHW, pressurisation and controls. Heating and hot-water continuity to the occupied block is maintained throughout by the Principal Contractor's temporary boiler, with BuiltAI providing the hydraulic, electrical and BMS interface points.
Three IDEAL EVO Max 2 boilers in cascade at 450 kW; three 2,000 litre thermal stores; two Stokvis 700 kW DHW plate-heat-exchanger skids for N+1 resilience; Grundfos pumps, Flamco pressurisation and an Arrow cold-water boost set; a twin-wall fire-rated flue and gas-safety panel; a Schneider distribution board with a new sub-main to BS 7671 and NICEIC certification. The 54-point BMS is carried as a Prime Cost Sum for a specialist appointed by the Principal Contractor.

VE 4 is quoted at the conservative single-PHE figure. If VE 2 is rejected and the paired exchangers are retained, the VE 4 saving doubles, because two exchangers are then in scope.
Commercial basis and programme
