Governed AI, Not AI Experimentation
BuiltAI helps teams use AI safely inside controlled workflows, with human review, QA gates, data classification and clear professional boundaries.
Principles
Five principles every BuiltAI engagement enforces.
Human oversight
AI-assisted outputs are reviewed before use. AI is an assistant, not a decision-maker.
Source-led delivery
Findings and outputs are linked to evidence or recorded assumptions. Nothing material is asserted without traceability.
Approval gates
QA1, QA2 and client approval stages protect final issue. Gates are enforced in the platform — not optional.
Data classification
Green, Amber and Red rules determine how every piece of information is handled.
Professional boundaries
BuiltAI does not provide legal advice, engineering design sign-off or statutory H&S approval.
Data classification
R / A / G rules apply to every upload and every AI action.
| Classification | Rule | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Green | Low sensitivity information that can be used in standard AI-assisted workflows. | Generic process notes, public documents, non-sensitive templates. |
| Amber | Commercial or client operational information requiring controlled handling and review. | Tenders, contracts, RAMS, WIP reports, service records. |
| Red | Highly sensitive information not accepted for MVP upload or open AI processing. | Personal data, security-sensitive data, regulated information. |
Red-classified data cannot be uploaded in the MVP. To agree a secure handling route, contact BuiltAI directly.
Professional boundaries
What BuiltAI does not do.
BuiltAI outputs support operational improvement, commercial discipline, document structuring and governance. BuiltAI does not provide legal advice, engineering design certification, statutory compliance sign-off, CDM duty-holder services or formal H&S approval unless explicitly agreed in writing with suitably competent professionals engaged.
No legal advice
Commercial review aids assist with structure and clarity, not legal interpretation.
No engineering design sign-off
Design validation requires a competent engineer engaged separately.
No statutory H&S approval
RAMS drafts require competent H&S review and client approval before use.
No autonomous AI decisions
Every AI-assisted output is a draft until a reviewer signs it off.
Governance built in, not bolted on.
