About BuiltAI Intelligence

We built this because we were the ones staying late.

BuiltAI is a UK construction team building structured AI for the work that already gets done: tenders, RAMS, change events, monthly submissions, dispatch. Every tool exists because someone on our side spent years doing it by hand.

The story

Built by trade hands. Not a tech company that wandered into construction.

BuiltAI’s founders spent fifteen years on commercial sites across the UK — writing tenders, assembling RAMS, chasing CVRs, and watching capable teams burn hours on documents that followed the same structure every time. The patterns never changed. The pain didn’t either.

The first pack is Bidroom in a Box: a structured workflow built to turn a 72-hour tender turnaround into six. Not by cutting corners, but by removing the blank-page problem entirely: standard inclusions, exclusions, and assumptions, populated from the brief and reviewed by a human before submission.

Every pack since has followed the same principle. Find the document your team already writes. Structure the workflow. Generate a draft in your trade voice. Put a competent reviewer in front of it before it leaves the building.

Fifteen years on commercial sites. The founders’ background: tenders, RAMS, CVRs, monthly reports, all written by hand, all following patterns that never changed.

BuiltAI Intelligence founded. Six workflow packs, two engagement modes, one portal — full lifecycle coverage from first enquiry to final account, built from those patterns.

Question 1 of 5

Your team writes tenders, RAMS, CVRs and monthly reports by hand or in Word?

Defensible by design

Reviewer-led. Audit-trailed. No black box.

We don’t ask you to trust the AI. We ask you to trust the process: structured inputs, governed outputs, competent review, and a full audit trail.

Data residency & governed inference

Your project data is hosted in the UK/EU. AI inference runs via Anthropic (US) under a data-processing agreement with zero data retention, and is never used to train any model.

Competent-reviewer QA gate

Every output passes through a human reviewer with domain competence before it leaves the system. The AI drafts. Your people approve.

Reviewer sign-off on every deliverable
Role-based access and approval flows
Named reviewer attached to each output

Full audit trail

Every output carries a record of the pack that produced it, the prompt version, and the reviewer who signed it off. Traceable from draft to issue.

Common questions

Before you pick up the phone.

The six workflow packs are licensed annually, scaled to your company, plus seats and usage credits. The Operational Intelligence Audit is a fixed-fee four-week engagement, and Built to Order is priced per deliverable. There is no rate card — every engagement is quoted in a scope of work after a conversation.

Start with the audit. It maps where your time goes and tells you, in writing, whether structured AI fits your operation right now. If it doesn't, you keep the seven deliverables and walk away.

No. BuiltAI drafts documents. Your team reviews, approves, and issues them. The competent-reviewer QA gate is non-negotiable: every output has a named human reviewer before it leaves the building.

Your project data is hosted in the UK/EU. AI inference runs via Anthropic (US) under a data-processing agreement with zero data retention, and is never used to train any model. Full audit trail on every output.

Yes. Most clients start with the audit on a single live project or a Beat Your Best challenge on one document. No commitment beyond that first engagement.

The Plant Room is a standalone workspace. Outputs export as standard document formats (PDF, DOCX, XLSX). We integrate with existing document management workflows rather than replacing them.

How we work

Audit first. Then the pack. Then yours to keep.

01

Audit

We map where the writing hours actually go. The Operational Intelligence Audit produces seven deliverables in four weeks. Output is yours regardless of next step.

02

Pack

Workflow packs selected to fit the project. Six packs covering tenders to dispatch. Built to Order if you want it stood up for you.

03

Output

Drafts in your trade voice. Tenders, RAMS, CVRs, dispatch tickets, monthly reports, generated against your real work, not demo data.

04

Owned

IP belongs to you. Outputs, prompts, templates and process maps are yours to keep on day one. No platform lock-in. No quarterly contract before you've seen output.

Get started

Three doors in.
One lifecycle through.

No contract before you’ve seen work. No demo theatre. Real documents, real briefs. Pick the door that fits the moment.
